Johnny Depp is amazing

So basically what happened was a 9 year old girl from Greenwich wrote a letter to Jack Sparrow asking for help in organising a mutiny against her school teacher. Depp was filming nearby and took off and went to visit her and her school. They gave them only 10 minutes warning and arrived to screams of joy from the students. He talked her out of it, but gave her a hug and possibly the best day at school ever.
This story was not a publicity stunt, or something that Depp even wanted advertised. He often does charitable things without taking credit for them (which is humble and awesome). Another example of this is when his daughter was sick in hospital and he would go around the childrens ward as Captain Sparrow and make the kids feel better. He ended up donating $100,000 to the hospital in thanks, and once tipped a waiter $4,000.
I would like to think if I ever became a celebrity that’s what I would do.
