Happy New Years everyone!!!
The fireworks in Sydney on NYE, celebrating the start of 2009.
Why has is taken me so long to wish you all a Happy New Year?
- I don’t have the net at home, so my blogging is impaired.
- I had way too good a time on NYE and have only now recovered.
New Years Resolutions:
- Keep in touch with my friends, make efforts to catch up with people.
- Save some $$$
- Loose some weight.
- Learn and apply the word “moderation” (thanks totally to NYE)
Personal Highlights of 2008:
- Going to the Gold Coast in Feb, swimming with the dolphins, patting a tiger!
- Starting this blog (first post – Feb 18th)
- Starting to use Gmail & Google Calender!
- Taking my girlfriend to Fiji for our 3 year anniversary and her birthday in March
- Moving out of home to a cool apartment
- Going to New Zealand in August with my work mates and learning to snowboard.
- Fostering new and awesome friendships!
- Learning to appreciate wine and a new found taste in expensive Waygu steaks.
- Getting a kick ass laptop.
- Actually having people read my blog!
- Obama getting elected
- Going to my first concert and first festival.
- Using StumbleUpon
- Discovering Sequential Art Webcomic
- Discovering imagechan
- NYE 2008>2009
Lowpoints of 2008:
- Not getting into med and why
- The infamous Boba Fett Blaster Saga
- Going on a “break” with my girlfriend in November/December
- Having to move out of the cool apartment and into my grandfathers.
- George Carlin died. RIP you awesome dude.
- My sister breaking her foot.
- Injuring my ankle at my work Xmas party.
